The install command also accepts fully specified module names, so if you need to install a particular version, say it clearly:

$ zef install "XML:ver('0.0.2'):auth('Timothy Totten')"

zef also supports installing from a given URL or a file.

Searching for a module

Before installing a module, it may be a good idea to see what other modules exist or what other versions of the desired module appear. Use the search command:

$ zef search Time

===> Found 14 results

This is followed by a table displaying all found modules together with their versions and brief descriptions.
